What is "Rainbow Mayonnaise Deluxe"? Teen-Beat's Director Mark Robinson said "I'm not sure what the title means, but I think it's supposed to allude to a non-existant food product that is rainbow colored. Kind of like the peanut butter you can buy with marshmallow or jelly already in it."

Rainbow Mayonnaise Deluxe is the title of this album by Blast Off Country Style. The newest, coolest and most exciting group from unique label Teen-Beat of Washington, D.C. This album is lovely enough for any taste, with it's fine guitar work and the tight and sweet blend of the voice. Blast Off Country Style is made up of two girls and two boys, who complement one another beautifully. Each selection that they perform is refreshing new musical experience for the listener. They experiment with new style and exciting sounds and every experiment is a tremendous success. In fact, there is not taste of country, there is taste of next something. I am not going to bore you with descriptive notes on each track of this album. Just listen to them and judge for yourself. I am proud and pleased present to you "Blast Off Country Style/Rainbow Mayonnaise Deluxe" and some of the coolest sounds of our day. I hope that you'll love this album as much as I loved it!
