BIOGRAPHY

Jonathan Kreinik, AKA JK, is an artist slash producer slash recording engineer living in New York City. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, he started out in post-punk bands Les Trois Malheures [sic] and Pines Of Nowhere. Jonathan eventually moved to New York where, after being in a few punk/noise bands, he formed the dark-electro duo Jean Miche with Adeline La Fleur (a.k.a. Lizzy Young). He also started recording and performing as AKA JK and under his full name.

He's been just as prolific behind the scenes as a producer, studio engineer, and live performance sound engineer, collaborating across the musical universe with acts like Trans Am, The Make Up, LCD Soundsystem, Paris Hilton, Midnight Magic, Run The Jewels, Sqürl (Jim Jarmusch & Carter Logan), The Rapture, Le Tigre, and Violent Bullshit, and more. His first release with a Teenbeat catalogue number is called Olive Juice.
