From the INSERT: 'TBT100 was recorded in one weekend in August '92 coinciding with our first annual TeenBeat bar-b-Q.'
The barbeque was held at Teenbeat 92 (715 N. Wakefield Street, Arlington, Virginia, USA).
Cobalt: Yasmin Kuhn, Torry Colichio, Douglas Wolk. 'A band that was put together for the express purpose of recording for teenbeat 100.' Yasmin continued using the name for her music..
Phil Sweeney from Blast Off Country Style also plays bass on the Sexual Milkshake track.
Bratmobile's 'There's No Other Way' was originally recorded by the English band Blur.
The release of Teenbeat 100 coincided with Teen-Beat's Eighth Anniversary Celebrations.
The insert proclaims a forthcoming album by The Shoetrees that never materialized [listed as Teen-Beat 129].
